Entrepreneurship: Innovate, Create, Thrive

At Evergreen Country Day, we believe in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit that empowers students to innovate, create, and lead. Our Entrepreneurship Program provides students with hands-on experiences that cultivate creativity, critical thinking, and financial literacy—skills that will serve them well in high school, college, and beyond.

Building Businesses and Big Ideas

Through engaging classes and activities, students learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, from developing a business plan to pitching their ideas to an audience. Highlights include:

  • Shark Tank Competitions: Students pitch their business concepts to a panel of judges, gaining confidence and valuable feedback.
  • Financial Literacy Classes: Students explore the basics of budgeting, credit, and financial planning, preparing them for real-world responsibilities.
  • Build Your Own Business Projects: Students design, launch, and manage their own ventures, applying entrepreneurial principles to bring their ideas to life.

The Ware Fair: A Marketplace for Young Entrepreneurs

Each month, students have the opportunity to participate in the Ware Fair, where they create and sell their own products to the school community. From handmade crafts to innovative gadgets, the fair allows students to experience the full entrepreneurial cycle, including production, marketing, and sales. The Ware Fair not only showcases their creativity but also reinforces the importance of communication, adaptability, and perseverance.

Preparing for the Future

Our Entrepreneurship Program is about more than starting a business—it’s about fostering a mindset of innovation and initiative. By the time they leave Evergreen, students will have developed the confidence to take risks, the resilience to overcome challenges, and the skills to turn their passions into reality.
