Admissions Process

1. Inquire

2. Tour

We offer weekly tours most Wednesdays at 8:30am, and an Open House on Friday, December 5. Please see our online inquiry form for an up-to-date calendar. You can RSVP via the form or by emailing Carlin Zia at czia@evergreencountryday.org.

3. Apply

Here is our online application. The priority deadline for 2026-2027 admissions consideration is January 15, 2026. Please note that students in grades K-8 are eligible to apply for Flexible Tuition, here is the application. The priority deadline to apply for Flexible Tuition is January 31, 2026. Please contact the Admissions Office directly for all interest in mid-year enrollment for the current school year.

4. Shadow Day/Readiness Visit

As part of the application process, we require a Shadow Day for any student applying into grades 1-8. For younger students we schedule shorter Readiness Visits. Both formats are designed for us to get to know your child and for them to get to know us! Accommodations will be considered for families applying from out of state.

For the 2026-2027 school year admissions cycle, Shadow Days will be conducted in fall 2025 and winter 2026. Readiness Visits will be conducted as early as late-January 2026 and will continue through the month of February 2026.

5. Decisions

In accordance with the Association of Colorado Independent Schools “Denver Group” admissions agreement, ECDS will notify families about first-round admissions decisions via email and/or phone in late February. (Grades 6-8, February 20, 2026. PS-5th, February 27, 2026.) We also offer open enrollment throughout the school year based on availability.
