The Nest, our Early Childhood program at Evergreen Country Day, is a vibrant community where character is cultivated, imaginations soar, and limitless learning begins in a safe and loving environment.

In the Nest, we champion the power of learning through play and inquiry-based exploration. Our approach strikes a perfect balance between child-driven curiosity and teacher-guided discovery, encouraging children to ask questions, explore their surroundings, care for others, and reflect on their place in the world.

As the first chapter of our Early Childhood through Middle School journey, the Nest is a school—not a daycare. It’s a place where curiosity, creativity, and foundational skills take root. Our spacious classrooms, bathed in natural sunlight, and multiple outdoor spaces create a warm, inspiring atmosphere where young minds can thrive.

Our dedicated facilities include a Tinker Lab complete with engineering and structure stations, an outdoor Tinker Garden, and sensory integration centers. Each day, children engage in hands-on experiences that nurture their creativity and problem-solving skills. Our dynamic curriculum includes Spanish, Early STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and math), and the fine arts, all delivered in child-friendly ways designed to plant the seeds for a lifetime of learning.
